Energy Assistance

The goal of NHSaves is to help people statewide be more energy efficient and save money by using less energy in their homes. However, we understand that sometimes this is still not enough. The statewide Electric Assistance Program (EAP) began October 1, 2002. This initiative provides qualifying customers with discounts on their monthly electric and gas bills.

Eligibility is determined by total household income and the number of household members. If you rent or own your home and receive an electric or gas bill from Eversource, Liberty Utilities, New Hampshire Electric Co-op, or Unitil, you may apply for these discounts.
